We are really pleased with the Pathfinder Sixth Form Suite. Our corridor is decorated with vinyls that depict the rolling hills in our logo. Although long, the corridor is bright and airy. It has a set of double doors in the middle which makes the space quieter for our students. The corridor is decorated with inspirational quotes that have been chosen by our staff and first cohort students.
The Salon has been purposely designed to allow students to train in Hairdressing and Nail techniques. The salon has two washbasins and two mirror stations, along with a nail bar. Students use Nail Inc. and Candy Coat to prep and paint nails.
Our Common Room is fitted with lockers, comfy modular seating, and tables to eat lunch at. Students have access to a kitchen with all the appliances they need to make their lunch. The Common Room is a place for students to relax in their down time and socialise – an important part of their social and emotional communication.
Our Childcare Suite is a dedicated space used to teach the skills needed to work with young children in a variety of Childcare settings. Students are given the opportunity to study Childcare up to Level 2 and we invite groups of children into our suite for story times and stay and play events during the academic year.
We also have The Space, The Hospitality Suite and an eSports room.
